How it unfolds

As it settles. Pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still); vanilla (creamy, sweet and cozy) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Pine 4 · Cedarwood 3 · Frankincense 2 · Vanilla 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Pine 2 · Cedarwood 2 · Frankincense 1 · Vanilla 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Pine 12 · Cedarwood 9 · Frankincense 6 · Vanilla 3 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use mountain homestay chill in a diffuser?
Add Pine 4 · Cedarwood 3 · Frankincense 2 · Vanilla 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of pine?
Swap pine for sandalwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: sandalwood is creamy, smooth and long-lasting.
When is the best time to use mountain homestay chill?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
