log cabin in the woods

4 oils · Woody · Resinous & sweet · Warm spice · code BL-2833

Pine and cedarwood split evenly, resin meeting dry wood, building a whole log cabin out of scent; frankincense and cinnamon, a drop each, add resin and warm spice. Good for apartment living rooms or bedrooms that want the feel of a mountain cabin. Start the diffuser as you switch on the warm lights; for bigger rooms double it, and for more depth add 1 drop of frankincense.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk); cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use log cabin in the woods in a diffuser?
Add Pine 2 · Cedarwood 2 · Frankincense 1 · Cinnamon 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of pine?
Swap pine for sandalwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: sandalwood is creamy, smooth and long-lasting.
When is the best time to use log cabin in the woods?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
