Lavender and bergamot share the main role, clean blending with fresh, mandarin adds a juicy sweetness, and ylang-ylang closes with a soft yellow-floral note. The scent is cheerful yet smooth, perfect for evenings when you want to curl up on the couch and then shuffle off to bed. The 18-drop recipe is for a big room; for a small room, take a third of each, keeping ylang-ylang at one drop.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); mandarin (gently sweet, softer than orange) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
