Bergamot and cinnamon open together, fresh and warmly spiced like a cup of cinnamon tea on a chilly monsoon day, frankincense adds resin, and myrrh and jasmine make the finish rustic and lightly sweet. Great for the living room on cold days, with everyone gathered close. Cinnamon is fairly strong, so in a small room reduce it to two drops.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm); jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still); myrrh (bittersweet, resinous, deep and classic) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Cinnamon can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
