6am shift, sharp

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · Warm spice · code BL-1225

The morning shift starts, and you need to get things rolling early. Ten drops of lemon open tart, fresh and dazzling, four drops each of peppermint and eucalyptus radiata add icy and gentle coolness, and two drops of cinnamon sprinkle in sweet, spicy warmth. Premix all twenty drops and keep them at the counter, using five per shift. Great for shops, service counters or the office at opening time.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); eucalyptus radiata (gently cool, softer than classic eucalyptus) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing Skin irritant

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Cinnamon can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use 6am shift, sharp in a diffuser?
Add Lemon 4 · Peppermint 2 · Eucalyptus Radiata 2 · Cinnamon 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lemon?
Swap lemon for sweet orange or bergamot — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: sweet orange is ripe, sweet, cheerful and round.
When is the best time to use 6am shift, sharp?
Best in the morning, early afternoon, or right after a nap; avoid using it close to bedtime.
