A head as cool as the inside of a fridge, no temper at all. Four drops of peppermint open icy cool, three drops of lemon add fresh tang, and eucalyptus radiata and spearmint, two drops each, bring soft coolness and light sweetness. Great for a desk on a summer afternoon. In a small, closed room, reduce the total to six drops.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); lemon (fresh, bright and clean); eucalyptus radiata (gently cool, softer than classic eucalyptus); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
