Blend recipes · Summer fresh

post-shower under the fan

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · code BL-2975

Tea tree and peppermint open clean and minty-cool, like the breeze from a ceiling fan switched on right after a shower. Lemon brightens, and eucalyptus radiata adds a soft airiness. Great for a bedroom on summer nights or the bathroom. Pre-mix a bottle and add 4 drops each time; place the diffuser right under the fan so the coolness spreads around the room.

How it unfolds

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); lemon (fresh, bright and clean); eucalyptus radiata (gently cool, softer than classic eucalyptus) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use post-shower under the fan in a diffuser?
Add Tea Tree 3 · Peppermint 2 · Lemon 2 · Eucalyptus Radiata 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of tea tree?
Swap tea tree for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use post-shower under the fan?
Use it at midday, in hot rooms, or after coming in from outside; you can also mix a room spray for a quick cool-down.
