Sandalwood and ylang ylang share most of the blend, warm and sweet like a glass of red wine, bergamot opens with freshness, and geranium and patchouli keep the finish deep and sensual. Perfect for evenings for two: opening a bottle, nibbling cheese and putting on music. The 50-drop batch is best premixed; use 6 drops each time for the living room.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting); patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
