Sweet ylang ylang goes first like a stolen glance, bergamot keeps the scent fresh and clear, then patchouli and a touch of geranium settle into a lingering feeling. Great for an evening study corner, cramming for exams while daydreaming. To keep it from getting too sweet when you need to focus, swap one drop of ylang ylang for bergamot and run the diffuser intermittently.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
