leave the pressure at work

5 oils · Citrus · Floral · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0763

Release the day's pressure before you carry it home. Ten drops of lavender make a soft floral base, cedarwood and frankincense add dry wood and warm resin, and bergamot and lemongrass sprinkle in slightly tea-like peel and fresh grassy lemon. It's a big batch, 5 drops per use. Good for your desk at the end of the workday.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use leave the pressure at work in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 2 · Cedarwood 2 · Frankincense 1 · Bergamot 1 · Lemongrass 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use leave the pressure at work?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
