Sweet orange and bergamot open the show, one juicy-sweet and one elegant, like a glass of orange juice on a morning off. Frankincense and lavender follow to soften and warm the scent and keep it from fading away. The blend is light and cheerful, perfect for the living room on a late morning with no alarm. Since citrus fades fast, run the diffuser in 20-minute bursts rather than nonstop.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
