Plenty of mandarin drops make the opening sweet, juicy and very gentle, almost like ripe mandarins peeled during Tet, the Lunar New Year. Roman chamomile follows closely with a soft, sweet herbal note, and a single drop of bergamot adds just enough brightness to keep it from feeling flat. The recipe suits a large room, or mixing a small bottle to use over time. For a mini diffuser, about a third of the drops is plenty.

On opening. Mandarin (gently sweet, softer than orange); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
