serious but charming

4 oils · Herbal · Minty · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-1103

Serious yet still charming: working hard without being dull. Three drops of rosemary open green and sharp, frankincense and peppermint, two drops each, add warm resin and icy coolness, and a single drop of cypress brings cool needles. Great for an office or small meeting room. For a softer scent, add a drop of sweet orange.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use serious but charming in a diffuser?
Add Rosemary 3 · Frankincense 2 · Peppermint 2 · Cypress 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of rosemary?
Swap rosemary for eucalyptus or tea tree — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: eucalyptus is strong, cool and wide open.
When is the best time to use serious but charming?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
