praying to pass

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · Woody · code BL-1197

Praying to pass this exam season, and preparing well enough that you won't need to pray. Spearmint and juniper, five drops each, make a pair of sweet coolness and green resin, four drops of rosemary add sharp green notes, and three drops of lemon bring a fresh tang. Mix these seventeen drops into a bottle and use five each time. Great for a study desk in the mornings of the final review weeks.

How it unfolds

On opening. Spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use praying to pass in a diffuser?
Add Spearmint 2 · Juniper 2 · Rosemary 2 · Lemon 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of spearmint?
Swap spearmint for peppermint — same minty family. The blend will shift a little: peppermint is cool, sharp and clean.
When is the best time to use praying to pass?
Best in the morning, early afternoon, or right after a nap; avoid using it close to bedtime.
