late-night group study

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · code BL-3292

Spicy herbs and lemon; studying for hours and still not sleepy.

Studying with the group late into the night and still not sleepy: lemon, holy basil and rosemary in equal parts give a fresh, spicy herbal scent, and spearmint adds a sweet cool breath. Great for a group study table, a dorm room or a home library. Keep the diffuser on intermittent mode; in a closed room, you can cut holy basil to one drop.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Holy basil (warm and spicy with a clove-like edge) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing Skin irritant

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Holy Basil can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use late-night group study in a diffuser?
Add Lemon 2 · Holy Basil 2 · Rosemary 2 · Spearmint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lemon?
Swap lemon for sweet orange or bergamot — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: sweet orange is ripe, sweet, cheerful and round.
When is the best time to use late-night group study?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
