Blend recipes · Energy & alertness
Three straight hours of studying calls for a scent that won't wear you out. Rosemary, thyme and lemon, two drops each, create a fresh, bright herbal base, while one drop of spearmint adds a touch of sweet coolness on top. It works for a study desk, a mini home library or an online group study session. Tip: top it up after every fourth Pomodoro, right when you get up for your long break.

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); lemon (fresh, bright and clean); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
