Hot weather, hot temper. Peppermint and spearmint open with an icy stream, one sharp, one sweet, eucalyptus adds cool airiness, and a single drop of cypress lines it with green needles. The scent is as cold as opening the freezer door. Good for muggy summer middays, when the fan only blows hot air. In a small room, cut peppermint to two drops so it isn't too sharp.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
