No one needs to invite you; you're happy all by yourself. Bergamot and ylang-ylang, three drops each, bring elegant citrus and sweet yellow flowers; two drops of basil add spicy-sweet leaves, and one drop of peppermint brings an icy chill. The scent is confident and cheerful, great for a workspace or the living room. In a small room, cut the ylang-ylang to 2 drops so the flowers don't drown out the freshness.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
