night before the exam

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0821

The night before an exam, books spread all over the desk. Rosemary keeps your head clear with green, slightly camphorous leaves, bergamot adds clean, tangy citrus, and lavender and frankincense hold things steady underneath so your heart races a little less. Made for a study desk at night. Do one last review while the diffuser runs, then switch it off and go to bed early so you wake up sharp.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use night before the exam in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Bergamot 3 · Frankincense 2 · Rosemary 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use night before the exam?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
