So light-hearted it's almost scary. Lavender and bergamot walk side by side, soft purple and tangy citrus, like a cup of floral tea with a slice of orange; Roman chamomile adds a drop of honey, and frankincense sets a warm layer at the bottom of the cup. Good for the bedroom at night or the living room on a weekend afternoon. Run the diffuser for 30 minutes; for a large room, double the recipe.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
