minimal but fragrant

2 oils · Floral · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0291

Two oils, split fifty-fifty, nothing more. Myrrh brings a warm, slightly woody, quiet note, and Roman chamomile adds a sweet, gentle apple-tea touch. The scent is minimalist and refined, perfect for a white-toned room with few belongings or a tidy workspace. For a room of about 12 m², use 3 drops of each; for a lighter daytime scent, cut myrrh to 2 drops.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Myrrh (bittersweet, resinous, deep and classic) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Myrrh 5 · Roman Chamomile 5 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Myrrh 2 · Roman Chamomile 2 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Myrrh 15 · Roman Chamomile 15 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use minimal but fragrant in a diffuser?
Add Myrrh 5 · Roman Chamomile 5 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of myrrh?
Swap myrrh for frankincense or vanilla — same resinous & sweet family. The blend will shift a little: frankincense is resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still.
When is the best time to use minimal but fragrant?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
