A free shoulder rub is a tiny happiness that feels huge. Lavender leads, clean and soft; myrrh follows closely with slightly bitter resin like old wood in a temple, Roman chamomile adds honeyed apple, and bergamot dots a bit of freshness on top. Perfect for a night when your partner rubs your shoulders while you watch a movie. This batch covers three or four sessions, about 5 drops each time in the diffuser.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Myrrh (bittersweet, resinous, deep and classic) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
