Eucalyptus and pine sit equally up top, cool like Christmas Eve out on the streets; clary sage adds round, warm herbs; cypress and tea tree close with needles and a green-clean note. A big-batch recipe to mix ahead for December. Take 5 drops each time for the bedroom diffuser, and make yourself a mug of cocoa to chase away the chill.

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk); clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
