post-hike, sitting on a rock

4 oils · Herbal · Woody · code BL-0869

A whole morning of uphill climbing, and now you plop down on a rock and breathe in the forest. Cedarwood and pine open with wood and fresh pine resin, cypress adds cool needles, and eucalyptus leaves a clean, airy trail at the end. This blend suits a stuffy home office that needs a forest breeze, or the time after a long walk. Tip: start the diffuser as you take off your shoes, so the scent welcomes you home.

How it unfolds

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use post-hike, sitting on a rock in a diffuser?
Add Cedarwood 2 · Pine 2 · Cypress 1 · Eucalyptus 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cedarwood?
Swap cedarwood for sandalwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: sandalwood is creamy, smooth and long-lasting.
When is the best time to use post-hike, sitting on a rock?
Use it while meditating, doing yoga, journaling, or simply sitting still for 10 minutes without your phone.
