ideas coming in hot

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · Resinous & sweet · code BL-1084

Ideas are pouring in, so write them down before they're gone. Lemon and rosemary, three drops each, open with fresh tang and green herbs, while spearmint and frankincense, two drops each, add sweet coolness and warm resin. Great for a creative workspace in the morning. Tip: keep a small notebook and a pen right next to the diffuser, so nothing slips away.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use ideas coming in hot in a diffuser?
Add Lemon 3 · Rosemary 3 · Spearmint 2 · Frankincense 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lemon?
Swap lemon for sweet orange or bergamot — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: sweet orange is ripe, sweet, cheerful and round.
When is the best time to use ideas coming in hot?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
