code compiles first try

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · code BL-1049

Code that runs without errors on the first try, every programmer's dream. Three drops of lemon open tangy and bright, rosemary and eucalyptus add green herbs and airy coolness, and a single drop of spearmint leaves a sweet, cool note. Great for a home office in the morning. If you're coding into the evening, add a drop of cedarwood to deepen the scent.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Lemon 3 · Rosemary 2 · Eucalyptus 2 · Spearmint 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

FAQ

How do I use code compiles first try in a diffuser?
Add Lemon 3 · Rosemary 2 · Eucalyptus 2 · Spearmint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lemon?
Swap lemon for sweet orange or bergamot — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: sweet orange is ripe, sweet, cheerful and round.
When is the best time to use code compiles first try?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
