Blend recipes · Fresh air & odor control
House party tomorrow, so today you clean. Icy peppermint opens the show, bergamot and sweet orange follow with citrus that's both elegant and fun, and cypress seals it with a green-wood note. Turn on the diffuser 30 minutes before guests arrive. When the party's over, use this same blend to clear out any leftover food smells.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
