With plenty of ylang-ylang, the opening is very clearly sweet and floral; sweet orange mixes in freshness, fennel adds a slightly sweet, unusual herbal note, and cedarwood forms a dry wood base. Overall it's warm and full of character, unlike the usual sleep blend. It suits a large bedroom. If you're trying it for the first time, use 2 drops of ylang-ylang and 1 drop of each of the others to get acquainted.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); fennel (sweet and herbal with a little anise) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
