dark tea, still classy

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Woody · Tea · code BL-3101

Black tea, sweet orange, dry cedarwood and a touch of creamy ylang ylang.

Black tea and sweet orange open warm, clean, dry cedarwood forms the backbone, and a single drop of ylang ylang adds a creamy, seductive floral touch. A deep yet classy scent, great for a dark-toned living room, the bedroom or your desk in the evening. If you don't like florals, skip the ylang ylang and add one drop of sweet orange.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Black tea (steeped, warm and slightly malty); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
