day off incoming

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · code BL-1325

A bottle ratio for the joy of a comp day off. Twelve drops of peppermint open cool and refreshing, clary sage follows soft and sweet like herbal tea, and five drops of lemon add a bright touch. The living room on a stay-home day, when you're still doing a few small chores but in no rush, is the best fit. Use 5 to 6 drops at a time; if you're unwinding, add 1 extra drop of clary sage for a softer feel.

How it unfolds

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use day off incoming in a diffuser?
Add Peppermint 4 · Clary Sage 3 · Lemon 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of peppermint?
Swap peppermint for spearmint — same minty family. The blend will shift a little: spearmint is sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum.
When is the best time to use day off incoming?
Best in the morning, early afternoon, or right after a nap; avoid using it close to bedtime.
