Back from walking the dog: you have mosquito bites, and the floor smells like the lawn. Peppermint leads icy-cool, clary sage and lemon add sweet herbs and fresh tang, and citronella, a tiny amount, brings that familiar grassy note. Diffuse in the entryway while you wipe your pup's paws. Never put essential oils on your pet's fur or collar, and always leave them a way out to fresh air.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); lemon (fresh, bright and clean); citronella (strong, green and slightly lemony) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
