breathing at my own pace

4 oils · Floral · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0959

Breathe in at your own pace, breathe out at your own pace. Pine, patchouli, and lavender get two drops each: fresh pine resin, damp earth, and gentle herbs, while a single drop of frankincense keeps the finish warm. Suited to breathing practice early in the morning or evening meditation. Patchouli lasts a long time, so twenty minutes of diffusing is plenty.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet); frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Pine 2 · Patchouli 2 · Lavender 2 · Frankincense 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Pine 1 · Patchouli 1 · Lavender 1 · Frankincense 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Pine 9 · Patchouli 9 · Lavender 9 · Frankincense 4 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use breathing at my own pace in a diffuser?
Add Pine 2 · Patchouli 2 · Lavender 2 · Frankincense 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of pine?
Swap pine for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use breathing at my own pace?
Use it while meditating, doing yoga, journaling, or simply sitting still for 10 minutes without your phone.
