brain at full capacity

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · Woody · code BL-1113

Brain running at full capacity: no breaks, no lag. Three drops of bergamot open with bright, fresh citrus, cedarwood and rosemary, two drops each, add steady dry wood and green herbs, and a single drop of peppermint leaves a cool streak. Perfect for a busy Monday morning with lots to handle. If you work into the evening, leave out the peppermint so you're not too wired at bedtime.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Bergamot 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Rosemary 2 · Peppermint 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Bergamot 2 · Cedarwood 1 · Rosemary 1 · Peppermint 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Bergamot 11 · Cedarwood 8 · Rosemary 8 · Peppermint 4 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use brain at full capacity in a diffuser?
Add Bergamot 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Rosemary 2 · Peppermint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of bergamot?
Swap bergamot for lemon or sweet orange — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use brain at full capacity?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
