mind map filling the page

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · code BL-1097

A mind map covering the whole page, branches linking to branches, every idea begging to be written down. Five drops of rosemary lead green and sharp, three drops of peppermint add icy coolness, and two drops of bergamot brighten the whole atmosphere. Great for a study desk or small meeting room when you're brainstorming a project. If you use it in the evening, cut peppermint to two drops.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Rosemary 5 · Peppermint 3 · Bergamot 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Rosemary 2 · Peppermint 2 · Bergamot 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Rosemary 15 · Peppermint 9 · Bergamot 6 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use mind map filling the page in a diffuser?
Add Rosemary 5 · Peppermint 3 · Bergamot 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of rosemary?
Swap rosemary for eucalyptus or tea tree — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: eucalyptus is strong, cool and wide open.
When is the best time to use mind map filling the page?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
