summer class retake

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-1141

This summer you're retaking that class, not leaving it for next year. Three drops of frankincense lay a steady, warm resin base, cedarwood and bergamot, two drops each, add dry wood and fresh citrus, and a single drop of rosemary keeps your mind alert. Great for a study desk on summer mornings. If you study through the hot midday, add a drop of peppermint.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still); cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Frankincense 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Bergamot 2 · Rosemary 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use summer class retake in a diffuser?
Add Frankincense 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Bergamot 2 · Rosemary 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of frankincense?
Swap frankincense for vanilla or myrrh — same resinous & sweet family. The blend will shift a little: vanilla is creamy, sweet and cozy.
When is the best time to use summer class retake?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
