Woven rugs, green plants, rattan lamps, and a scent that's pure boho. Patchouli leads with a damp, slightly sweet earthy note, sandalwood and ylang-ylang add creamy wood and yellow flowers, and bergamot opens the door with a bit of freshness. The blend suits the living room on weekends, lounging around with music on. If you're new to patchouli, cut it to 2 drops and raise bergamot to 3.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet); sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
