prone to lounging

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Woody · code BL-0261

Tend to lie down every time you see a couch? Eucalyptus opens cool and airy, patchouli and bergamot share the middle equally, warm earth meeting fresh citrus, and one drop of sandalwood closes with creamy wood. The scent is fresh and deep at once, perfect for the living room in the afternoon. In a small room, cut eucalyptus to 2 drops so the patchouli and bergamot come through more clearly.

How it unfolds

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet); sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Eucalyptus 3 · Patchouli 2 · Bergamot 2 · Sandalwood 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Eucalyptus 2 · Patchouli 1 · Bergamot 1 · Sandalwood 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Eucalyptus 11 · Patchouli 8 · Bergamot 8 · Sandalwood 4 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use prone to lounging in a diffuser?
Add Eucalyptus 3 · Patchouli 2 · Bergamot 2 · Sandalwood 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of eucalyptus?
Swap eucalyptus for rosemary or tea tree — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use prone to lounging?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
