baby's asleep, mom exhales

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0653

The baby is asleep, and now mom finally gets to breathe. Clary sage leads with a warm herbal note, a bit like wine steeped with leaves; sweet orange, frankincense and Roman chamomile are equal, bringing orange, warm resin and a little honeyed apple in turn. Good for the living room once the whole house has turned off the lights. Use 5 drops each time, in a separate room so the baby's sleep is not disturbed.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use baby's asleep, mom exhales in a diffuser?
Add Clary Sage 2 · Sweet Orange 2 · Frankincense 2 · Roman Chamomile 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of clary sage?
Swap clary sage for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use baby's asleep, mom exhales?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
