Pregnant and still glowing, still deserving of pampering. Six drops of lavender make a soft floral base, frankincense adds warm resin, Roman chamomile brings sweet apple, and sweet orange sprinkles in a little cheer. Good for a well-ventilated bedroom in the evening. Moms-to-be are often sensitive to smells, so start with half the recipe, run it briefly for 15 to 20 minutes, and check with your doctor before using essential oils regularly.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
