after-dinner stroll

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Woody · code BL-0135

Dinner's done, a few laps around the block, then back home to sit and take it easy. Clary sage and bergamot share the main role, warm, sweet herbs meeting fresh, slightly bitter citrus, while cypress adds a green, woody note like a tree-lined path. The scent is light and airy, perfect for the living room in the evening. Turn on the diffuser before heading out, and when you get back the room will smell softly lovely.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use after-dinner stroll in a diffuser?
Add Clary Sage 3 · Bergamot 3 · Cypress 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of clary sage?
Swap clary sage for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use after-dinner stroll?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
