a real good morning

4 oils · Citrus · Minty · Resinous & sweet · code BL-1210

A genuinely good morning, not the forced-smile kind. Lemon and sweet orange, three drops each, open with fresh tang and cheerful sweetness, while peppermint and frankincense, two drops each, add icy coolness and warm resin. Great for a kitchen or living room in the morning. Make yourself a glass of warm lemon water, and both you and the room will smell of fresh lemon.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use a real good morning in a diffuser?
Add Lemon 3 · Sweet Orange 3 · Peppermint 2 · Frankincense 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lemon?
Swap lemon for bergamot or lemongrass — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: bergamot is light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style.
When is the best time to use a real good morning?
Best in the morning, early afternoon, or right after a nap; avoid using it close to bedtime.
