Eight drops of sweet orange burst out like someone just peeled an orange in the room, lime and peppermint add tang and cool, and frankincense with ylang-ylang form a warm, slightly floral base. Five oils for that coming-back-to-life feeling after an exhausting week. Great for a big living room on Sunday morning or a deep-cleaning day. This ratio is enough for several sessions; use only 6 to 7 drops at a time.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
