6am run

3 oils · Herbal · Minty · Woody · code BL-1191

Running at six in the morning, the air cool and the streets still empty. Ten drops of juniper open with green resin like a conifer forest, eight drops of rosemary add sharp herbs, and three drops of peppermint bring a refreshing chill. Premix these twenty-one drops and use five each morning. Start the diffuser while you tie your shoelaces, and the room will still smell great when you get home.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use 6am run in a diffuser?
Add Juniper 4 · Rosemary 3 · Peppermint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of juniper?
Swap juniper for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use 6am run?
Best in the morning, early afternoon, or right after a nap; avoid using it close to bedtime.
