finals week survival

4 oils · Herbal · Minty · Woody · code BL-1304

Exam week has arrived, and your desk needs a serious scent. Juniper opens with dry conifer wood, cypress follows green and resinous, peppermint keeps your mind cool, and a single drop of rosemary holds the herbal note. Works in a dorm room or a study corner at home. For a less dry feel, swap 1 drop of juniper for 1 drop of lemon.

How it unfolds

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use finals week survival in a diffuser?
Add Juniper 4 · Cypress 3 · Peppermint 2 · Rosemary 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of juniper?
Swap juniper for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use finals week survival?
Best in the morning, early afternoon, or right after a nap; avoid using it close to bedtime.
