50 pages of reading

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Resinous & sweet · code BL-1165

Fifty pages of documents, and you have to understand every bit as you go. Eucalyptus and frankincense, three drops each, make a pair of airy coolness and warm resin, and two drops of bergamot add fresh citrus to keep boredom at bay. Great for a desk or small home library. Split the reading into ten-page chunks and take a two-minute break after each one to rest your eyes.

How it unfolds

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Eucalyptus 3 · Frankincense 3 · Bergamot 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Eucalyptus 2 · Frankincense 2 · Bergamot 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Eucalyptus 11 · Frankincense 11 · Bergamot 8 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use 50 pages of reading in a diffuser?
Add Eucalyptus 3 · Frankincense 3 · Bergamot 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of eucalyptus?
Swap eucalyptus for rosemary or tea tree — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use 50 pages of reading?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
