Blend recipes · Summer fresh

38 degrees at noon

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · code BL-2964

It is 38 degrees out, so no small talk: fresh lemongrass, bright bergamot, peppermint icy from the very first breath, and rosemary for a tidy touch of green. Great for the office at lunchtime or a sun-facing room. Combined with drawn curtains and a running fan, the scent makes the space feel much more pleasant; add one drop of peppermint if you still feel hot.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing Skin irritant

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use 38 degrees at noon in a diffuser?
Add Lemongrass 2 · Bergamot 2 · Peppermint 2 · Rosemary 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lemongrass?
Swap lemongrass for lemon or sweet orange — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use 38 degrees at noon?
Use it at midday, in hot rooms, or after coming in from outside; you can also mix a room spray for a quick cool-down.
