1-on-1 with the boss

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · code BL-1083

A one-on-one with your boss calls for a clear head and a calm voice. Three drops of peppermint open icy cool, rosemary and bergamot, two drops each, add sharp green notes and fresh citrus, and a single drop of eucalyptus airs out the room. Great for your workspace ten minutes before the meeting. If you feel nervous, add a drop of lavender.

How it unfolds

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use 1-on-1 with the boss in a diffuser?
Add Peppermint 3 · Rosemary 2 · Bergamot 2 · Eucalyptus 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of peppermint?
Swap peppermint for spearmint — same minty family. The blend will shift a little: spearmint is sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum.
When is the best time to use 1-on-1 with the boss?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
