Tagetes minuta is a culinary herb native to South America, cultivated in Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, and South Africa.
Family Asteraceae.
Different from European marigold (Calendula officinalis) and Mexican marigold (Tagetes lucida, under M).
Niche oil, little used in cosmetics due to phototoxicity.
