Botanical source

The essential oil is steam-distilled from flowers of Michelia alba (white champaca, white jade orchid). The name 'magnolia leaf' reflects the aroma rather than the plant part used.

87 percent of the composition consists of anticarcinogenic constituents (linalool, β-caryophyllene, α-caryophyllene, β-elemene).
