unboxing day

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · code BL-1551

The package has arrived, and you're opening it on the spot. Bergamot and clary sage, two drops each, blend elegant citrus with soft, sweet, tea-like herbs; one drop of peppermint adds an icy chill. The scent is fresh and tidy, great for the bedroom, a desk or your unboxing video corner. For more cheer, add 1 drop of sweet orange; for a large room, double it.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use unboxing day in a diffuser?
Add Bergamot 2 · Clary Sage 2 · Peppermint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of bergamot?
Swap bergamot for lemon or sweet orange — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use unboxing day?
Use it when guests are coming, on weekends, after tidying the house, or whenever you want a little good mood.
